15% done

Got a nice Sunday in, winning just over 2k. The days leading up to that were not as profitable, almost dead even. I did not panic or worry about it, I look at winning 2k over 5 days, and that seems prettttty good to me.

I have joined all the Russian mail order bride sites I can, if I had not visited Russia and other Eastern European countries, I would be skeptical of the thousands of gorgeous ladies dying to marry me and come to America. I might buy a couple if I hit 20k on the month, could be group discount, I should ask. Here are my favorites:

Fantasy Football is up and down, I have been unlucky a little bit running into opponents who have off the chart weeks, but my prop bets with everyone are going very well. Larry Fitzgerald is going to get open sooner or later and if Kurt Warner takes his Viagra should be crushing it soon.

Back to the grind and a turtles pace!

$20k in October

Goal for October is to make $20,000 on PokerStars. Going to play a few games tonight and get to bed early and really get to work tomorrow. I am excited and fresh and ready to do this.

Will post daily updates here and will try and post a "Hand of the Day" video as often as possible.

Changes

A lot of big changes for my poker and for my life have happened and will be happening. The other night it really hit me that I am going to kill myself if I keep this pace up. And by that I mean playing for 3 or 4 days straight and not eating, or eating unhealthy. There is just no point other then to make tons of money, but what good is that money if I am dead from an adderall overdose sitting at my desk.

A few weeks back I started doing 5 pushups on every break, and that has been going well, now I do 7-10 every break. And I do it every break so some days I am doing over 100 push ups. But gone are the long grind sessions, going to cap it at 20 hours max and even that will be rare. I am going to focus on 8-14 hour sessions and have a break.

We are moving to Hollywood / Melrose area in about three weeks. We are both excited to be somewhere with places to eat, get coffee, and do stuff will be walking distance away. Right now there is just nothing for us to do in Ojai and we are both getting restless and want to enjoy life.

My fantasy football teams are doing well, I am 2-1 in both leauges. Joseph Addai could not muster up just a few more yards last week and I lost by a tiny margin. I was able to hold off the only undefeated team in the PoRo 5k leauge on Monday night and am now tied for first with 7 of the 12 teams.

The past two weeks I have been working hard with my friend on his SNG game, he is coming out for a little over a week this Saturday for an intenese 1 on 1 boot camp. He will be writing a story about the journey as well for a publication and will make sure to post a link once it is published.

Poker is really screwy with results and false confidence. He had some really good results at the very beginning, but recently I have noticed that he is no where close to where I thought he was, because I had figured with all the winning he had done he was better then he really was. It was a wake up to never trust results, at least not in the short term. That being said, he has improved a ton and a week here will have him in good shape and ready to crush the games.

I am going to start another session up on Stars and hopefully take down some 180 mans.
